Open books and no back room deals! Our communities are being left out of important decisions at early stages when their voices and input should be heard. Imagine speaking to the commissioners weeks before a vote not minutes.
Continued fiscal responsibility
Weld County has a history of fiscal responsibility, however the 2026 Budget has a 26% increase in spending. This far outpaces the estimated revenue, and with Federal cuts coming in the next two years it would be a good time to realign spending practices.
Taxpayers First
I am running as a grass roots candidate. I don’t have any big money developers backing me. My priority will be the people not the developers. I welcome ideas and input. I want to amplify your voices because I also want common sense to become our standard again.
Fighting for all of Weld County
Supporting communities large and small as well as the unincorporated areas of Weld will be a priority. Our county can not leave any area or citizen unsupported.
Smart responsible growth
Growth is inevitable and needed for a healthy community. Growth should not come at the expense of environmental damage, the inability to maintain the quality of life or outpace infrastructure. A vibrant community needs growth that will protect our water, our land and our way of life. Colorado is known for its outdoor adventures. I will fight and vote to protect our natural resources and ensure our wilderness areas remain unspoiled so we continue to be a place to visit for generations to come.
Data Centers have too many environmental risks and development of them should be suspended pending protective regulations.

Critical Issues
Our local governments are not listening regarding key issues.
The Data Center debacle: Changing the zoning regulations to allow for data centers was step 1.
This week (September 9, 2026) the Commissioners voted to allow our resources, land and property values to be diminished. Data centers do no provide any meaningful employment after the initial construction. They average 20-50 employees mostly in lower paying security roles.
I will continue to look for answers to find a way to minimize the impact if elected. You can speak up through votes, phone calls and letters.

Flock Cameras:
Flock technology has moved beyond a useful tool for law enforcement to surveil and track law abiding citizens. The Supreme Court ruled that police may take a picture of your license plates as there is not and expectation of privacy driving down the road. Police however must get a warrant for obtaining a cell phone location. Part of that decision (Carpenter v United states 2018) is due to the scope of the information available in the phone. It is my opinion this is were Flock Cameras are.
There are already dozens of documented cases of information misuse by law enforcement and the employees of this technology. Countless police agencies have canceled their contracts due to the 4th Amendment issues. Weld County should follow suite.
